Kate has worked in private practice over the past five years. She assists clients to process symptoms of distress such as anxiety, depression and traumatic stress, thus empowering  clients to gain awareness and insight into their challenges. This enables them to overcome difficult obstacles, develop their potential, wellbeing and sense of self. Her passion for wellbeing has led her to conduct public speaking events, and also on radio.

Kate takes great pride in her strong values of integrity, respect for others, confidentiality, non-judgmental attitude and empathy, which all contribute to an environment where clients feel confident and safe to work through issues that are important to them.

Whilst Kate’s clients are supported to explore the causes and meaning of their issues, she can offer new perspectives and greater clarity, leading to personal growth, improved relationships, and deeper meaning and purpose in life. Kate is committed to providing a holistic, grounded and client-centred approach that supports clients psychological, spiritual and emotional needs.

Kate embraces a holistic approach to supporting her clients, which may include considerations such as diet, lifestyle, stress, and ancestral history to complement the therapeutic process. She uses a number of evidence-based counselling techniques and approaches tailored to her clients’ needs and goals. These therapeutic techniques include mindfulness, Internal Family Systems and Person-Centred.  Most recently she trained in Healing Inner Conflict. Kate also includes energy healing (where clients permit), which adds a profound dimension to the healing journey.

Kate is dedicated to achieving optimal outcomes for all of her clients.
